PLINI visit to Japan with Jakub Zytecki 2024.3 Tokyo

PLINI, who announced the release of their latest EP “Ember” in December 2023, is coming to Japan for the second time!
I went to PLINI’s live concert at Daikanyama UNIT on March 19, 2024. I was discouraged by the Corona Vortex and wondered if I would never be able to see another foreign artist live again…but I guess people are strong.
We arrived at Daikanyama UNIT with high expectations for PLINI’s long-awaited live performance and what kind of stage it would be.
The venue was all standing and filled with audience of all ages. The audience was excited but calm at the same time.
The guitar played by PLINI was a strandberg, which also has a SIONATURE model, and looked like a TT (True Temperament) fret model.
This guitar was a TT fretted guitar that PLINI had brought to one of his previous gigs, and he liked it so much that he decided to work with strandberg to make it happen.

It was a wonderful performance that allowed the audience to fully enjoy PLINI’s unique melodic and intricate rhythms and technical guitar playing charm.
To put it mildly, it was a ★★★★★ experience that shook not only the sound and rhythm but also my heart and body more than the album soundtrack. If they come back to Japan, I would definitely like to see them again.
Also featured as an opening act was Polish guitarist Jakub Zytecki, whose technical and emotional performance enlivened the audience.
